Obituary of Young Ja Lim

Young Ja (Jin) Lim, 80, a resident of Perkiomenville, PA since 2003, formerly of Lansdale, PA, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2017. She and her husband, Dong Ho Lim, observed their 54th year of marriage on February 14th of this year.

 

Born April 14, 1937 in Hiroshima, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Nam Sik Jin and Byung Soon (Kim) Jin. She owned and operated Lim’s Cleaners in Skippack for 30 years until her retirement in 2015. She was loved by all of her many customers.

 

Mrs. Lim was a member of the Philadelphia Korean Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed sharing in the preaching activities and gardening. Her greatest love was for her family and her weekly dinners with her sons.

 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Hyo Jin “Tony” Lim and his wife, Elizabeth, of King of Prussia, PA, Hong Jin “Jim” Lim and his wife, Ann, of Berwyn, PA, John Jin Lim and his wife, Diana, of North Wales, PA, and Peter Jin Lim of Perkiomenville; and four grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Lily and Janie. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.  

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on November 18th at 6PM at the Philadelphia Korean Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 618 Norristown Rd., Horsham, PA 19044.
